    Prestressed Plastic Corrugated Pipe

    Prestressed corrugated pipe is a new type of pore-forming materials applicable to bridge engineering and the raw material is HDPE, which is mainly used in post-tensioned prestressed concrete structure. Prestressed corrugated pipe is the pore-forming pipeline of prestressed concrete reinforcement. The executive standard is JT/T529-2004.

    1. Characteristics of plastic corrugated pipe
    • Using HDPE as main raw material, plastic corrugated pipe is featured by high corrosion resistance, ageing resistance and fatigue durability.
    • Excellent sealing and impervious performance, which is applicable to vacuum grouting.
    • Plastic corrugated pipes are black or yellow and no defects like hard lump or severe bubble are allowed.
    • Plastic corrugated pipe is featured by good flexibility and wearing quality. The suggested spacing between spacer bar is no more than 0.8m and the minimum bending radius is 0.9-1.5m.

    Plastic corrugated pipe HDPE is the most stable plastic material currently with no reaction with water and Portland cement. The ageing resistance can last for 50 years within component. Good cohesiveness with concrete due to high waviness height, large contact area and high bonding strength. 0.9-1.5m (about 10-15 times of inner diameter or long axis) No leakage under load or within bending range. The tubing wall thickness is 2-3mm and arranged as single circle. It can not be destroyed easily by vibrating beam due to its high rigidity and bearing strength. No fracture under continuous extrusion. No water leakage for 24 hours under 50kgpa pressure. μ=0.10-0.14
